This advanced miniature high fidelity loudspeaker unit, with a 50 mm anodized aluminium cone, high compliance surround and powerful magnet system, has a wide usable frequency range or 100Hz - 20kHz. The distortion generated is down to one tenth of that produced by units of conventional design. The total moving mass is only 1.8 gm and both the cone and voice coil former are constructed from aluminium foil chosen for its light weight and high rate of restoration. With a 19mm aluminium voice coil, maximum continuous RMS power rating is 30 watts. Voice coil impedance options are 4, 8 and 16 ohms. The free air cone resonance is typically 65 Hz and the recommended acoustical loading for all versions is a sealed, internally damped enclosure of 1.5 litres.
